Lesch studied at the University of Munich and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit\u00e4t in Munich and holds a doctorate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He is currently Professor of Astrophysics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit\u00e4t and works mainly on research into cosmic magnetic fields and the formation of galaxies.
