New orders in construction in July 2020: -5.6 % compared to previous month

According to the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) new orders in the construction industry in July 2020 were 5.6 % lower than in June 2020 after seasonal and calendar adjustments. The current result indicates a slight slowdown in construction activity. However, incoming orders in June 2020 were unusually high due to large orders.
